If you bought our Lightroom mobile presets this is the installation guide for you! We will explain step-by-step how to add presets to Lightroom Mobile (FREE version) for both Android and iPhone (iOS).
You can also use this guide if you have a Creative Cloud subscription. In that case, the presets will automatically sync with the Lightroom desktop app (note: they will not automatically sync with Lightroom Classic).
You do NOT need a computer for this installation.
We also have installation guides for desktop presets. Go to the installation guide for Lightroom (previously Lightroom CC), Lightroom Classic (from version 7.3), Lightroom Classic (version 7.2 and older), and Photoshop (Adobe Camera Raw). If you are unsure which version you use, check our FAQ-page.
Make sure you bought the right presets, the files for Android are .XMP files and for iOS are .DNG files (you can use these files + method for Android too, but it takes longer to install).

How to Add Presets to Lightroom Mobile (iPhone/iOS)
- Download the Lightroom Mobile App
You are asked to create an account, this is FREE!
- Download the Unzip app
This will help us unzip the preset files from the email. After the installation, you can delete the app.
- Open the email with the download link for the presets and download the ZIP file
After your order, you receive an order confirmation and email with a download link.
- Open the ZIP file in the app ‘Unzip’
You don’t have to save the folder to your files.
- In the Unzip app, click on the ZIP file and it will unzip
You might get some advertisement.
- Click the folder ‘OUAJ … Presets (Mobile)’ and click again.
This will open the preset files, which are .DNG files. Do not worry that you see a question mark (?).
- Click ‘Edit’ in the top right and select all files
It’s the checkbox on the top left.
- Click the bottom left ‘send-to’ icon and select Lightroom from the apps.
If Lightroom is not visible, click ‘more’ and select Lightroom.
- Click on ‘Launch Lightroom Now’
A pop-up will appear, saying the photos will be imported on the next app launch. You will see the DNG-files appear as photos! Each photo has the preset name and preset pack as text on it. This makes it easier to store the presets in your app.
- Option 1: You can use the presets by copying the settings of the DNG-files each time you edit a photo
– Tap the three dots (top right)
– Click ‘Copy Settings’
– Uncheck the boxes ‘Tools’ ‘Optics’ and ‘Geometry’, check the rest
– Go to the photo you want to apply the preset to
– Click the three dots (top right) again
– Click ‘Paste Settings’
– That’s it! - Option 2: you can create presets so you don’t have to go back-and-forth every time!
– Tap the three dots (top right)
– Click ‘Create Preset’
– Uncheck the boxes ‘Tools’ ‘Optics’ and ‘Geometry’, check the rest
– Create a preset group to bundle them (OUAJ *Pack* Presets)
– Name the preset (as displayed on the photo) and add it to the preset group
– Click the check-mark (top right)
– Repeat the steps for all presets (you only need to create a group once, if you bought 1 pack) - If you have a Creative Cloud subscription, the presets will sync automatically to the Lightroom desktop application (the one with the same rounded corner icon as on mobile, previously Lightroom CC or Cloud). Happy editing!
If you bought more packs, you might need to repeat this process for each pack.
NOTES:
- The white balance (WB) is NOT included in any of our presets, you need to adjust this yourself if the WB is off. Find the White Balance in the ‘Color’ tab.
- You might need to make some small adjustments for the best results.
- Please share your beautiful creations and use #onceuponapreset when you share your edited photos!
