Washing instructions

High-quality ink is used on this ‘The Future is Equal’ shirt that won’t fade for a long time if taken care of properly. Direct-to-garment (DTG) printing technology is used to create this shirt.

Use these tips below to keep your shirt as beautiful as it is as long as possible!

Wash your shirt inside-out, cold, on a gentle cycle, and with a mild detergent and like colors. Only use non-chlorine bleach when necessary. Don’t dry-clean the shirt and don’t use fabric softeners.

Tumble dry only on a low cycle, but hang-dry is best. Do you want to iron your shirt? Then don’t iron the print part of your ‘The Future is Equal’ shirt. Use cool iron inside-out.

Use these instructions and avoid fading and cracking of the print. Shrinking the shirt can occur if you dry or wash the shirt on a high setting.

We are an independent, queer women owned brand.

Roxanne and Maartje are the Dutch lesbian couple behind Once Upon A Journey. They fell in love with each other in 2014 while both studying in Amsterdam. In 2017, they started to travel the world as a lesbian couple, and on the road Once Upon A Journey began.

While sharing personal stories and sharing the best travel advice, Once Upon A Journey grew into one of the biggest LGBT travel and lifestyle resources online, especially for lesbians.

Besides LGBTQ clothing, you can also find Lightroom presets in our shop, to make your photos even more beautiful! Presets are photo filters you can apply on a photo to change the looks of it. Our presets give that extra touch to your photos.
